Yup. Moving On. Well , we’re moving this week about 20 miles away. It’s been a great time renting this old boathouse apartment for the past three years. Farewell to Beaver Lake, land of my birth, wonder years and best friends. At least this move won’t be as huge as the last one from California. We put our home on the market there, had 4 offers in 4 days. Sold it in 5 days and closed in 30. And then moved over 2,000 miles back to Wisconsin.

It’s been quite a crazy summer remodeling the new place while simultaneously packing to leave this one. And not to mention plenty of regular VO work and other fun times.

We’re Saying hello to another Pretty Lake place this Friday, where we once again will be living in our own home, finally. I’ll be spending the weekend re-constructing and reconnecting the audio studio gear ( portable voice over sound booth) and checking twice for good digital audio coming out of my booth. I expect I’ll be fully  up and running a week from today.

And I am prepared! On the day of the last move, I was in my car in the driveway recording a commercial for Dun & Bradstreet while watching the furniture get hauled from the house and loaded on to the moving van. Thanks goodness for mobile gear, a quiet car and wi-fi!
