Voice 2007

by | Training

I haven’t made any entries this week because I was attending the Voice 2007 Conference in Las Vegas. All I can say is I am completely tired and exhilarated….and operating on adrenaline. This was the first one ever.  Four full days of back to back education on our craft. I have no idea how it could ever be topped. It was simply amazing in almost every respect. It will take me some time to process some of the things I saw, heard and learned. All in all, it was a great value, and I sensed this from each and every attendee.

This was a place where we could meet and mingle with our own kind! What energy! The presentations pushed, cajoled, probed and pushed us to the limits of what we can do for our voice acting businesses. Pat Fraley’s  56 Tricks Smuggled Out of Hollywood, and Bob Bergen’s One Man Show were highlights…besides getting  photo opps with Voice Master God Himself, Don LaFontaine. MJ Lallo’s character voice session was a blast, as was DB Cooper’s multi media presentation on voice over for the video game industry was amazing. Pictures below are: Bob Bergen (Voice of Porky Pig)  Don La Fontaine Voice Master….and Pat Fraley, man of 10 million voices!
