Since beginning this blog earlier this year, I’ve been quite faithful at regular posting. I had vacation scheduled in and around the Milwaukee and Chicago areas where many friends and family reside. Then my oldest sister, Pat became seriously ill. I left San Diego a week early and flew to Milwaukee. I took my laptop, M-Box and mic set up to handle workloads around spending several hours a day at the care facility.
Well Pat passed away this past Monday night. It’s been a strange, sad time, which is also coinciding with scheduled family vacation. I will return to San Diego next week, and will slowly but surely resume “normalcy”, whatever that may be at the time.
For now, I am embracing the moment, with friends and family.

To bear witness to the passing of a loved one is both an amazing blessing, and one of the hardest things one will ever do. I’m so glad you had the freedom of your voice career to allow you to spend those days with your sister. Sending good thoughts and healing energy your way.
