Setting Prices for Voice Overs

by | Career Advice

In my October 18, 2007 blog post, I touched on the topic , “Principles Of Setting Prices” .

Mary McKitrick , fellow vo-bb inmate and voice actor takes the subject all the way home in her well thought-out and extremely detailed article on all the things one should consider when pricing voice over.
She really nails it. Bravo, Mary!

To top it off, Mary contnues her novella on  perceived value in voiceover. She reminds us that we are in essence, the CEO’s , the product , the leadership, sales and marketing  departments for our businesses.

How do your rates stack up?  in my October 20, 2007 post I  published a listing of prevailing rates for Union and Non-Union Work  listed found at  Voices.com.

Like most small business owners, we MUST wear many, if not all the hats! Heed the call.

And don’t give away the store, just to pad your resume.
