There was discussion of Stanislavski and Meisner, text analysis, long form narration, truth and honesty as the “tools”, and the sweeping statement, ” the Master speaks the truth.”
It really isn’t hard to act. Acting is pretending. Those who are good at it just aren’t getting caught at it. (acting) One must “pretend” with emotional truth revealed. The actor must concentrate and focus on making the audience or other actors think and feel.
When the performance itself becomes a connection between the characters or the audience, it is a success.
The photo below was taken toward the end of the day. Exhausted but still enthusiastic.

“How do you stand out? By being outstanding”- Chuck Blore
A very insightful lesson, Bobbin. Seems to me that it’s the key to being really effective in voice acting. Thanks for reporting on this great course.

Thanks John. I feel like I’ll be mentally and emotionally “chewing” on the whole experience for a long time! And that’s a good thing.
Best,
Bobbin
