My teenage daughter had no school today, but she works, and she was called in for a while. That left the place nice and quiet so I could get some things accomplished. Strange. Very few auditions, but that’s ok. There was (and always is) plenty to do!
I filled my day with printing and running through scripts for a TV and radio session in the morning for the San Diego Museum of Man, learning my lines for a video shoot Wednesday for Union Bank of California, and lining up another script for a new client in Florida , which will be recorded toward the end of the week or early the next.
I completed and faxed my upgrade request to Voicebank’s premium subscription for linking one of my agent’s house reels demos to my own website. Cool!
I also wrapped up and printed my newly updated Business Plan, finished an awesome book by Joan Baker, Secrets of Voice-Over Success and made contact and plans for additional training for myself with some of the country’s top voice over coaches.
One last thing. I also updated my Anti-Virus program, and my computer is running way too slow. Think I’ll need to adjust the settings. Flashbacks of the dreaded dial up connections are dancing through my head.
