A busy and eventful week, and it ain’t over yet as I make this entry at mid-day Friday, which happens to be leap year day, the once in four-year opportunity to add a day to our lives.
I’ve had about two finished hours of long-form narration to record and edit. The recording time was about two hours, and the final edits took about 3 times that. DONE!!!!!
Then there were dental appointments for both me and our daughter, local Chamber Board of Directors meeting, pilates class, working out at the gym, a walk with my husband, an MCA-I meeting on Wednesday evening, and a Voice-Acting workout last night. Oh yes, I managed to fit in some time to visit the vo-bb, Facebook, and Voiceover forums, some meals and sleep.
Later there is end of month billng, recording more stuff from my regulars, plus an ISDN session with a new client in Michigan. When I am finished with all that, I’ll get my March Readers Digest articles recorded that I promised Julie Williams I’d get done in time for the podcast release on airsla.org.
Man! I’ m really glad there’s an extra day to get it all done!
Dang girl! That’s a full day…
Though it is really nice to look back on those days and go “wow, I got stuff DONE”.
Geez, I’m getting cranky over a poem I promised I’d record for a friend. It’s going to take a WHOLE HOUR out of my Saturday, LOL.
