Hey there, Hi there, Ho there….It’s good to be back from the soggy Midwest! At least here in California I don’t have a basement that can flood. Coupled with the floods in the Midwest and last October’s California’s wildfires, my friends joke that natural disasters like to follow me. (haha)
Once I returned, it was time for some elbow rubbing with my voice-over compadres.
Socialization of the v/o community actually goes beyond the web!
Last Thursday fellow vo-bb “inmate” and New York voice actor Peter O’Connell visited San Diego, and suggested some of us natives show him a good time. So we did. We met up in Old Town in San Diego and broke chips and salza and enjoyed a delicious meal at Cafe Coyote.

It was wonderful to leave the solitary confines of our respective home studios and share some laughs. Thanks for the great suggestion, Peter. Talk to you again on the web!
Bobbin:
Thanks so much for coming out with us for dinner. It was great meeting with you, sharing stories and seeing “Old Town”. What fun!
Best always,
– Peter
Hi Peter,
Hopefully the remainder of your stay in “America’s Finest City” went swimmingly. It was excellent to actually meet face to face, after knowing one another, virtually. Definitely a fun and memorable evening!
Best,
Bobbin
