My voiceover friend, Craig Crumpton made an informative post about World Voice Day, which was April 16th. There are some great tips on maintaining a healthy voice.
Many thanks, Craig.
It just so happens that I learned a lot about the physiology of a healthy voice last week on a telecall with virtual Voice/Speech coach, Joni Wilson.
One thing I learned from Joni is that the voice doesn’t really “age”, as some say it does. If you keep your voice healthy, it should maintain its pitch for years….and last a lifetime.
Thanks Bobbin. These are brilliant leads. I’ve saved Craig’s blog page to my faves, and have checked out Joni’s site as well. I think I’ll sign up from some of her virtual workshops in the near future. Have you tried any of them?
Cheers…
Stefania 😀
Hi Stefania,
However, she really is very knowledgeable about the human voice, and after totally losing hers years ago and working hard to get it back, you’d never know the doctors once told her she’d never perform again! The woman is an inspiring ball of energy!
Glad you liked this post. I just learned about Joni Wilson in the past few weeks and haven’t studied with her….yet.
Best,
Bobbin
