A couple of weeks ago James Alburger and Penny Abshire announced the dates for Voice 2010, June 2-5 in Los Angeles, and returning to the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. If you’ve ever attended, I’m sure you’d agree it is comparable to voiceover “Disneyland”. It’s tough to wrap your head around the whole experience. There is so much good stuff going on, you wish you could clone yourself!
I’m talking about the presenters, break out sessions, social getherings, the trade show booths, the people, meeting new and old friends, and rubbing elbows with fantastic voice coaches and stellar v/o pros.
Voiceover immersion for four blissful days. And it’s for voiceover folks of all skill levels.
I was on staff for the first two events, Voice 2007 in Las Vegas, and Voice 2008 in Los Angeles. Well it is now time to start planning ahead and save a little bit each month. When I step back and think about everything I got out of attending, and participating, I must say this event doesn’t cost. It pays!
I am also happy to announce that I will be joining my awesome colleague, Mr. Dave Courvosier and assisting as co emcee for Voice 2010 June 2-5 in LA. I’m stoked!
They just posted a nice video on the Voice 2010 site. If you were there last year, maybe you’re in it!
Well folks, I am leaving on vacation and going to go swim in some Wisconsin lakes, and visit family and friends, so I am taking a little blog hiatus. Everyone needs a change of scenery now and then. And yes, I am bringing my laptop and mic, and will be checking email occasionally. Talk with you after the 4th!
Hi Bobbin,
Have a happy vacation! Probably won’t be there this year, but maybe I’ll make it to the States for Voice 2011! cheers… 😀
