Someone picked up on an entry originally written  here at this blog back in March, 2008, and was added to on Voice Over Xtra in November, 2008, which also listed other shenanigans happening which target female voiceover talent.

Over the weekend my blog had an enormous amount of traffic as Voiceover Directory sent out a blanket mail notification to its members, and I saw the story was picked up on Twitter from Taji’s blog site. Seems that after all this time, the troubling truth is,  the sneeze audition scam is still afoot.

So here’s the update:
The perp calls himself Bill Johnson from the Lang Agency in Las Vegas, right?

Adding to the confusion, there is a legitimate Lang(e) Agency based in Las Vegas run by former Los Angeles agent, Linda Lange. I’ve heard she is very familiar with this scam and is really annoyed at how long it’s gone on.

Talk about viral, in more ways than one!

Hopefully the more this scam is exposed, it will affect less individuals!
