San Diego, California – Executive producers James R. Alburger and Penny Abshire announced today that registration is now officially OPEN for the third VoiceOver International Creative Experience, or VOICE 2010, slated for June 2-5 at the Century Plaza Hyatt Regency Hotel in Los Angeles.

“We suggest you act quickly to get your registration in – even though we’re 10 months away,” say the co-producers, who also operate The VoiceActing Academy and VoiceActing LLC. “There are only a certain number of rooms available at the Hyatt and you’ll definitely want to be at the hotel – that’s where all the fun stuff happens!”  More than 500 voice-over talent, coaches and industry professionals attended VOICE 2008. That’s more than double the attendance at the first conference. “We anticipate (and look forward to) an even larger turnout at VOICE 2010”, said the producing team.

The conference was created exclusively for the voice acting community but is open to all those involved in the entertainment field. The conference focuses on a three-tiered theme: Education, Technology and Community.

In addition to presentations from some of the top voiceover performers and coaches from around the world, there will also be panels and special events, a Red Carpet Reception is planned for the evening before the conference opens (June 2nd) – giving those who attend the opportunity to “hob knob” with a who’s who of voice talent in Los Angeles as well as mingle with their fellow conference attendees. VOICE 2010 will feature slightly longer sessions, more special events, more exhibitors, and extra time to network. For VOICE 2010, session pre-registration has been eliminated. All conference programs will be open seating, so attendees will be able to attend any program they wish.

The closing event of the VOICE 2010 conference will once again be a Gala Banquet featuring an extra-special surprise guest (or guests) who will join us. Also on the program will be the presentation of the VOICE 2010 Community Award. “You won’t want to miss this,” says Abshire.

We are extremely excited about the support of the voiceover community and the high caliber presenters who are already on board and who will share their expertise and techniques for successful voiceover careers,” say Alburger and Abshire. “We have some interesting things planned and some very exciting surprises that will knock your socks off!”
