I’ve come to an interesting conclusion. The frequency of my blog posts are in direct relation to my workload.
Last week was kind of a blur, and I had a lot of different projects: political TV and radio spots, national radio spot, a corporate narration on the topic of Brazil for a Brazilian client, more e-learning for Tag Heuer, web audio for DirecTV, and work for Boingo. While July and August were uber light, in terms of VO work, September’s and October’s voiceover projects are much more plentiful. Thank goodness. We’re putting our kid through college!
I hear the same from many of my VO pals. Thank goodness!
I am so thankful every time I get paid to open my mouth and speak my truth for that given script at that moment in time.
In the meantime, I am readying myself for this week’s end… when I head to Los Angeles for a few days.
I’m preparing to update my commercial demo with Bill Holmes , and then attending a Marice Tobias workshop Saturday and Sunday.
Total immersion. Thankful for every aspect of it, all the time.
Happy Halloween, by the way.
Here’s funny little a pic I shot while in Wisconsin a couple weeks back. I call this one,
“Bones on Bikes”
