Hello Everyone!
I hope you’ve been enjoying your holidays so far. I truly have. That’s part of the reason I’ve been a bit scarce. I’ve been entertaining and being entertained by family and friends, and focusing on other , equally significant things in life.
It’s been a busy week or so, and this is the first moment I’ve had to commit some thoughts to web.
I wanted to congratulate my friend Stephanie Ciccarelli at Voices.com on a huge milestone:
The 5th anniversary of the Vox Daily blog .
I applaud Stephanie’s tireless devotion to writing meaningful stories, and her steps toward fostering the voiceover artist’s world-wide community.
It was fun reading her 5th anniversary post, which is a trip down memory-lane of sorts.
I’m also gratified to learn that one of the top 10 topics was the interview she did with me on my
Do It Yourself home recording studio
FYI in case you’re up for a DIY:
And speaking of that very popular subject, the vocal booth, I received an email update from Justin at Dawbox about additional booth plans available for a 6’x’6’x7′ vocal booth, a DIY 8’x’8’x7′ booth for drummers, Acoustic Foam Kits with plans, Bass Traps, ventilation plans, and mic jack assemblies.
