Here’s how the AT2020 fared on a TV spot currently running in San Diego. The voiceover was recorded in a closet using the Audiotechnica 2020 USB microphone.

Nice. I use that mic as well! Love it. 🙂
The audio quality is truly awesome. I definitely want to add this to my Christmas wish list.
Hi Stefania,
Yea, not too bad. USB’s have come a long way. I’m selling my Samson CO1U on Craigslist. The AT2020 is suprisingly full, with low noise.
Best,
Bobbin
Hi Jim,
Thanks for stopping by and joining in on the conversation. I agree the AT2020 would make a nice gift under the tree. Drop big hints to your loved ones!
Best,
Bobbin
Actually sounded pretty good! Your voice was perfect for the commercial, warm and inviting. It’s amazing how you can go into a closet and turn out work that is professional. The AT2020 packs a lot of punch for the price.
Saw your post about Audio Technica mics. I use them in my studio. Have used ten years now. Also use RODE and Sennheiser. Like them all. The Audio Technica is my workhorse mic tho…
Hi Dan,
Thanks for joining in the conversation. I was having some issues at first with the mic, because it was picking up too much room noise and it sounded harsh. An adjustment to reduce volume in my Window audio settings made it sound oh so much better!
All The Best,
Bobbin
Hi Betteye,
This is my first experience with AT mics and I’m duly impressed. I also have a Rode NT1A that’s a great sounding mic for me. At the sound booth here at home I use my Neumann TLM 193. Thinking about trying a Sennheiser 416, just for fun!
Thanks for visiting and for your comment.
Best,
Bobbin
