I’ve been away for the past week on some business other than voiceover here in Wisconsin where I visit to 3-4 times/year, but have integrated VO into some of my time away with my portable booth set up…another trusty walk-in closet.
I have a Rode NT1A mic I keep here along with the Mic Port Pro. The mic is hanging from a coat rack, with a large comforter surrounding one corner for reflection pickup. The closet is fully carpeted, and there are a number of linens on shelves behind me. The laptop is running outside the closet, so no fan noise. The sound is really pretty good! Good enough for a few choice auditions. I have had to print out scripts, however, which I no longer do when working in the home studio.
For the most part, however, I’ll be happy to be back at the studio later tomorrow, and will be hitting things pretty hard when I get home/
Good night! Be back soon.
