Salma Hayek plays Kitty Soft Paws. I haven’t see the flick yet, but definitely intend to. Salma played the role using her own voice but as she says, with “Cattitude”.

However I found it interesting that Salma Hayek is new to voice acting, as is Billy Bob Thornton (who plays a Giant in the film).   I also saw a PR interview with the celebs who have discovered the fun and joy of voiceover!

I won’t moan about celebs taking gigs away from established and highly capable voice actors (now that’s Hollywood for ya) who get top billing and sell box office seats on the basis of the star-power names. (sigh)
