I decided it was time to get busy and follow through on my plans to perform some “Spring Cleaning” in the studio office.  One thing writing this blog makes me to is be accountable and do what I say I am going to do.

I removed boxes and an accumulation of dust from the top of an armoire that houses my laptop, scanner, external drives and serves as a work desk. 

Then I tackled a CD /disk shelf and found this lovely 3.5″ floppy disk: Don’t laugh!!!!  At least it wasn’t a 5 1/4″!

Just how ridiculous was that? Well I just ordered new organizational supplies from Staples to completely revamp and color code my filing system. I’ve gotten rid of a lot of stuff no longer purposeful in my life or work, that have done nothing but clutter my workspace, which is already tight. A spot was removed from the office carpet, surfaces were dusted and the space looks and just feels better.  I believe without all the dust around me, I’ll breathe better too.
