It all begins today! The Red Carpet kickoff reception is always so fun!

This convention has come a long way since the first on in Las Vegas in 2007, in one room with about 200. Today there are several rooms, breakout sessions, loads of interesting presenters and activities, and about 450 voiceover peeps.

I’ve been packing and organizing since yesterday. Figuring out what I’m wearing. Of course, not only to most women advance-plan their outfits, but as co-hostess of the VOICE 2012 convention, a little extra planning is required. Man I hope I don’t forget anything. Oh yes, must try to squeeze my blow-dryer into my already crammed suitcase.

I was up early today, got my exercise in had a very important audition to complete, and now I am getting ready to shower, dress and take off for the Disneyland Hotel.

The excitement is building within me. I am looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I’m hoping I’ll get a chance to actually sit in on some of the sessions. I think it’s going to happen this time.
