Here we are. It’s now the fourth quarter of 2012. And such perfect timing to attend my third Faffcon event.

In less than two weeks, I’ll be heading to Charoltte NC for Faffcon 5 for a whirlwind weekend.

This event sold out in 7 hours, as a maximum of 100 participants may attend. I’m looking forward to it, although I’m still working on my “to do” list from Faffcon 4 earlier this year in Ventura, CA.

It’s the unconference for working VO pros that continues to provide a very educational interactive and fun environnment, set up for VO folks, by VO folks. In essence a peer to peer professional development opportunity.

I fly coast to coast Friday and return Sunday. Oh so short, but ever so sweet!  Pics to come later!

Since the success of peer-to-peer learning depends on all participants being peers, FaffCon is unable to open registration to individuals who are not already working pros. The event was the brainchild of Los Angeles, CA voiceover talent Amy Snively who, with her team of volunteers from the voiceover community, has produced every FaffCon since its inception.
