Road Trip: Day 2

by | General

I write this as we just turned over 800 miles on the journey home. We are about 60 miles west of Glenwood Springs, CO, where we’ve decided to make a little pit stop before we continue to Denver, where we’ll be spending the next two nights.

The scenery has been breathtaking. The weather has been stellar, with dry roads , perfect visibility and little traffic.

We’ve decided to enjoy the Glenwood Hot Springs pool. Measuring two blocks long, it is one of the world’s largest outdoor thermal pools. This stop with be the perfect antidote for riding in a car for hours at a time. Ah, my aching muscles are already anxious for the therapeutic benefits of that 93 degree hot spring water.

This digital age and our devices make the travel fun. Verizon is affording me the ability to stay on top of what’s happening on Facebook and other social media, when I’m not driving of course!
