Made it! Road trip phase is officially over! And the above banner was attached to the door when we arrived in Wisconsin on Tuesday. Our furniture arrives  Thursday so we’ll have a little “calm before the storm” time to decompress after the drive.

This is our temporary space at our investment property until the movers get here to our  new space about 15 miles north of here. The first point of order will be to get my voiceover “daw booth” assembled and wired for work.  Next will be ISDN and internet connectivity. My fingers and toes are crossed that all will run smoothly as the whole experience has so far.

I took this shot to include the thermometer which was reading about 30 degrees.  Now we are closer to family and friends, and from where we came to begin with. Yes, we left California for this. Yes, we are contrarians. Yes, it will be a challenge, and yes, it will all be a gift .
