Life in voiceover: Feast or Famine:

Well this has turned out to be one heckuva week for work. For that I am grateful, but so busy I’ll be scare on the blog and social media scene for a wee bit.

The cool thing is bookings have come in. One was a national radio for homebusinessmatch.com that’ll be running on some 500+ stations and on Sean Hannity shoes plus all Sirius XM stations.

Talk about wide variety… there was a small thing for TimeWarner Cable-LA,  the Ministry of Health Contact Center for Saudi Arabia (UAE), a local political spot, and …

Computerized Voices? Will we become Hal?

My talented vo guy friends, Dave Courvosier and Chris Wagner have recently probed the “synthetic nerve” in their respective blogs on synthetic voices created by computers.

Bottom line, will the technology replace the human voice…and voice actors?

Like it or not, if you’re in voiceover, you are an entrepreneur. You’re in business. The sales business. A bit of salesmanship is needed; in your read, as well as your business practices.
